Andrew and I along with our three children have lived at our smallholding Pigeon Door for 8 years, over the last 5 years we have converted our buses ourselves for people to enjoy a peaceful break in stunning countryside. We look forward to welcoming you to 'step off the world' for a few days and truly relax.
There is a local pub which offers a warm welcome with excellent food and real ale within a 20 minute walk, The Fox at Ryton also welcomes dogs and children. The Horseshoes at Dorrington is 2 miles away, open from 11am every day, welcomes families and dogs too.
An excellent village shop, award winning Persian restaurant, another public house and a Post Office are all within two miles.
A local award winning Indian takeaway will also deliver to Pigeon Door.
We are situated a few hundred yards away from Berriewood Stables which offer excellent Equestrian facilities and trekking breaks, if this is of interest you and would like to bring your horse to take part we have a fenced paddock with each bus for them to graze. We welcome horses through Spring, Summer & Autumn.
Within a few miles there is Condover Golf Course, professional tuition available or just enjoy 18 holes and the friendly club house.
